The Indiana Peace and Justice Network (IPJN) is an association of activist organizations that promotes peace, social and economic justice. We stand together for human rights, a society based on equality and fulfillment of human need and a sustainable environment. We oppose pre-emptive wars and other forms of military aggression. Our objectives are to support our member organizations, share information and resources, and promote statewide coordination of peace and justice activities.

We are a group from the Lafayette, Indiana area dedicated to spreading awareness of peace issues through discussion and action. We have sponsored and participated in peace actions such as rallies and vigils and learning opportunities such as conferences, videos presentations, and speakers. Pat McGeever's latest play, "Jolly Old Saint Dick; A Brief Christmas Farce," will be read on Sat. Dec. 16 at 10 am at the monthly meeting of Alliance for Democracy of Indiana at its new location, the Abbey Coffeehouse, 825 N. Guided Charter Bus Tour of Synagogue, Mosque, and Church

This event is part of Spirit and Place and is sponsored by Bridging the Gap and IPCUM.  Visits will be made to Al-Fajr Masjid Mosque, Etz Chaim, and St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church.  A facilitator at each site will guide the discussion about worship traditions.  Participants will learn about three Hoosier religious groups with direct ties to the Middle East  and gain an appreciation of the way people of different backgrounds enhance and enrich our overall community.

Center for Inquiry Teen will meet on Thursday October 26 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Au Bon Pain, 901 Indiana Ave. for discussion of current political and social topics of interest to the group.  Email Caroline at CFI-Teen-owner@yahoogroups.com  for details. CFI Teen is a group of high school age teens interested in peace and social justice issues. We are politically and socially liberal. We are atheist or theist, including non-mainstream religions. We utilize science and reason in forming our worldview.
