 Richard Wiener lived under the Nazi regime from 1933 to 1939 and was the only Jewish student in a school of Hitler Youths. He watched as his home was destroyed and his father was taken away to concentration camp. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he returned to his hometown Wittenberg for a class reunion, initiated a healing experience with his ex-classmates, and later became an honorary citizen of the town.
